Birmingham is full of amazing people: great coders, stunning designers and imaginative thinkers. And while there's a great deal of talk about how Birmingham should be the UK's digital capital, there seems to be little action to justify that claim. So let's change it: not by talking, but by doing.

Why not spend a weekend with a laptop and some likeminded folks, to turn ideas into action? You don't have to be a coder: you just need a problem to solve or an idea to build. Dreamers can pair up with coders and together we can produce some work that could actually improve not just our city, but the digital communities we inhabit.

You'll be able to form small groups to collaborate on projects, or work on your own to come up with something stunning. At the end of the weekend, all the code produced will be made public and released under Creative Commons license.
